Jake, Thank you for your comments. It’s interesting that you recognized the concept of masculine sophistication. That was a concept I discovered as I researched and wrote the blog. I personally haven’t tried Viking Solid Cologne but I plan to do that. Colognes are a new world for me. In my youth, I could have cared less. Now that I am getting older, fragrances intrigue me. I don’t know why, but solid colognes just seem more suited to men. At least that is how I feel. I think the fragrance may interact in a more time delayed manner if applied through a wax. There may be more control there. I’m sure there is less control in the pH interaction of the skin and the oil if applied as a liquid I see it is a dimension of myself that I have simply not experienced.
